Do you want your salespersons to only be able to query their own documents?

With SRD combined with SPW (Sales Invoice Passwording) you can set up each salesperson with a descriptive name that will be the same as their salesperson name (e.g. BBS). In the Processing Options section they will only be able to access the Query Document section. Within Query Documents the lookup will work as usual, but only those documents for which they are the salesperson will be shown. If a Starting Invoice Number for another salesperson is selected, the system will begin searching from that document number forward until a document for that salesperson is found. The search process may be more rapid if the search by customer ID is selected in place of the document number.

Pressing F5-Prior Doc or F6-Next Doc will search for the next document for that salesperson in the specified direction and display it. This search method applies when viewing either the document header or lines. In order for SRD to work, SPW must be active and each salesperson must be set up. Please refer to SPW documentation. All individuals using Peachtree will then be required to enter their password when using Peachtree. Those persons who are not to be restricted in the documents they can query must have the password flag "Change Activation Codes" set to "Y". The restrictions of SRD will not apply to these persons.

This enhancement also requires RLS Lookup Customers by Salesperson to be active. After activation of RLS, you must be sure to rebuild keys as documented in the RLS documentation.
