Enter critical information that you see, not your customer! SIC - Internal Comment On Documents allows you to enter special comments ( 4 lines, 70 characters in length) that print only on the screen or the specific documents you tell them to! You can also create up to nine standard internal comments which can be edited for individual documents on the fly.

After installing SIC - Internal Comment On Documents ten additional transaction types are available when entering Invoices, Orders or Quotes. The transaction type "CB" is used to enter an internal comment. Simply enter "CB" as a transaction type. Although the transaction type will change back to a "CM" transaction, Peachtree will allow a comment of 4 lines, 70 characters in length. Using the function keys listed below type the comments you want or use standard comments. Utilize the function keys to save, restore, change comments or change print settings.

To view the selection of standard comments, press F2. A lookup box will be displayed showing the first line of each of the nine comments available. Simply select the desired comment by highlighting it with the arrow keys and pressing enter or use the hot keys 1-9.

[F6] - Save as Default: Saves the current comment and its print settings. Simply select the comment number you wish to save the current settings under. Both the comment itself and all print settings will be saved.

[F8] - Print Settings: Is used to select which document formats the comment is to be printed on. Simply use the space bar and arrow keys to toggle on/off the formats that will include the internal comment.

Technical notes:

SIC is available only for standard invoices, orders and quotes. SIC comments are not available for repeating documents. SIC Print Settings are not accessible through PDQ. Only the first line of an SIC comment is accessible through PDQ. SIC is currently not available for Customers using any Peachpro custom invoice or packing slip (Format V - Peachpro Custom Invoice & K - Peachpro Packing List). Some custom invoices may need to be modified to work with SIC. Please speak to your salesperson regarding future availability and current limitations.
