REX - Enhanced Sales Tax Summary allows you to print a Sales Tax Summary sorted and summarized by State, City Or County. Plus, REX will suppress printing of any Zero Tax authorities (Zero Line Items). After selecting Sales Tax Summary from the Main Menu, choose E - Enhanced Report, select a printer and enter the report date, you will be presented with the following box. You may toggle any combination of options on or off by using the Space or Enter Keys, then press F10 to print.

The "Suppress Zero Tax Authorities" option would suppress lines that are all $0. The "Sort And Summarize..." option determine how the report is sorted, and which totals are printed. For example, if State and City are selected, the report is sorted first by state name, then by city name. If only City is selected, the report will sort only by city name, regardless of what state or county that city is in.Before REX - Enhanced Sales Tax Summary, your Report would look similar to the following:

Next you will be prompted to Clear State, County, City, or All Totals. You are only able to clear totals for information that was printed on the report. For example if you choose not to sort and summarize information by City you will not be able to clear City totals. This is to prevent you from erasing important information before you have received a permanent copy for your records.

Next, you will be given the standard Peachtree option to Delete Deactivated Records. In order to Delete Deactivated Records you must print your report selecting all of the Sort and Summarize options. This is to prevent you from erasing important information before you have received a permanent copy for your records. If you did not select all Sort and Summarize option and you select to Delete Deactivated Records you will receive an error similar to the following:
