Quickly make calculations while entering invoices, transactions, or querying!

Stop digging through your desk to find a calculator and instead push a function key to bring up a calculator right inside of Peachtree! This calculator will work wherever the function key "Alt-F9 Calc" is displayed which includes areas in Sales Invoicing, Inventory, Accounts Payable General, Purchase Order, Payroll and Accounts Receivable, where you do the majority of data entry and processing.

POP - Pop-Up Calculator has a lot of great benefits including:

• Reduce keystrokes by taking a number on your calculator and "pasting" it into the amount field you are currently on.
• Maximize what you see on your screen by optionally moving the calculator to 1 of 4 different on-screen locations.
• Make accurate calculations by specifying up to 9 decimal places on the calculator.

POP - Pop-Up Calculator will be in areas including:

• Query Vendor and Customer Screens.
• Maintain Vendor and Customer Accept Screens.
• Amount, Discount Amount, G/L and Job Cost Distribution amount fields in Enter/Edit A/P Transactions.
• Payment Amount and Transaction Amount fields in A/R.
• Qty Shipping, Qty Ordered, and Price fields on Sales Invoicing detail lines.
• Inside our enhancements RNP - Customer Notes and ANP-Vendor Notes.
• Maintain Inventory Items.
• Change Inventory Prices, Query Inventory and Enter inventory Transactions.

Using POP - Pop-Up Calculator is easy. Just look for the [Alt F9 - CALC] Function key light at the bottom of your screen when you are in any of the places mentioned above. Simply hit [Alt F9] and your "10-Key" calculator will pop up on the screen.

Please Note: This is a "10 Key" calculator, which will operate differently than many hand held calculators.

For example:

If you wanted to subtract 3 from 5 you would enter these keystrokes on the Pop-Up Calculator:

• C [ Clears the present value]
• 5+ [Adds 5 to the present value]
• 3- [Subtracts 3 from the present Value]

If you wanted to multiply 7*3 you would enter these keystrokes on the Pop-Up Calculator:

• C [Clears the present value]
• 7+ [adds 7 to the present value]
• *3= [Takes the present value and multiplies it by 3, The = is a necessary part of the calculation]

Listed below are the function keys that are available on the Pop-up Calculator

[UP], [DOWN], [LEFT], [RIGHT] to change the position of the calculator to any one of the 4 corners of the screen.

• C -Will reset the calculator to 0.00.
• D -Will allow you to select the appropriate # of Decimal Places for your calculations. You can choose any number of decimal places between 0-9 or choose F for a floating point decimal place (Only as many decimal places as needed will be shown).
• [PGUP] -Increases the length of the "Calculator Tape" to show the last 6 transactions.
• [PGDN] -Decreases the length of the "Calculator Tape" to show the last 2 transactions.
• [F7] -Changes the sign of the present value in the calculator. (10.00 becomes -10.00, etc...)
• [F9] -Exits Calculator and pastes the amount in the present value window into the whatever Peachtree field you are on.
• [ESC] -Exit Calculator.
• [+] -Adds the number previously entered to the calculator's present value.
• [-] -Subtracts the number previously entered to the calculator's present value.
• [*] -Multiplies the calculator's Present value by the number entered after the [*].
  • You must hit [Enter] or [=] to complete the calculation.
• [/] -Divides the calculator's Present value by the number entered after the [/].
  • You must hit [Enter] or [=] to complete the calculation.
