| PJR Job Cost Rates in Payroll |
Simplify payroll verification and correction when the hourly rates entered into job cost are transferred to payroll! Normally, hourly rates entered in job cost are not preserved when transferred to payroll. Only total hours and total earnings are transferred. For example, if you told job cost that an employee worked two hours at 10$/hr and two hours at 11$/hr, the transfer to payroll would show four hours at $10.50/hr. Since the employee never worked at $10.50/hr it is difficult to verify, correct and adjust. With PJR - Job Cost Rates in Payroll, the hourly rates are preserved.
The payroll system is limited to ten hourly rates per employee. You can enter as many lines in job cost as you need, as long as you don't enter more than ten different hourly rates per employee. If you enter more than ten hourly rates, the earnings for the excess rates will not be transferred to payroll and you will see an error message on the control report.
If you enter multiple hourly rates in job cost, you must use enhancement PDS - Payroll Rates On Check Stub to print all the hourly rates on the payroll check stub.
