| PDH Payroll Hourly Deductions |
Do you have employees that have deductions that are based on the number of hours worked? Are you tired of trying to manually figure out these deductions? Now, let PeachPro do all the work with PDH - Payroll Hourly Deductions.
After PDH - Payroll Hourly Deductions is installed, you will have a new option in the third screen of Maintain Payroll Options. You will now be able to choose "H" for deductions based on all hours; "R" for deductions based on Regular hours only, "1" for deductions based on Overtime 1 hours; and "2" for deductions based on Overtime 2 hours, along with "A - Amount" and "P - Percentage".

After setting up a deduction as hourly in Payroll Options, simply edit each employee and enter the hourly amount for all of your hourly deductions.
(Notice that deduction 6 & 7 have a "H" and an "R" for hourly instead of A or P.)

Enter Exceptions will now allow you to enter hourly deductions. If the hourly deductions are different than what you set up in Maintain Employees, simply enter the amount in Enter Exceptions.

After setting up the hourly deductions and entering them in Maintain Employees or Enter Exceptions, PeachPro does the rest. The total deduction for the pay period is calculated based on the number of hours worked. You can even use PDH - Payroll Hourly Deductions with SALARIED employees! PDH will calculate the deduction based on the standard work week (or any exceptions you entered for the employee).
