Do you need to adjust your purchasing for seasonal demands or vendor promotions, without changing the Reorder Level in Peachtree? With OLT - Seasonal Purchasing, you can create temporary Reorder Levels without changing your inventory files.

To use OLT - Seasonal Purchasing, the enhancement OSL - Auto POs With Stocking to Reorder Level must also be used.

OLT - Seasonal Purchasing uses a temporary stocking level Calculated by multiplying the Reorder Level by a Stock Level Multiplier. When you choose the option to generate Auto POs a box will appear similar to the following:

To order more inventory than usual, enter a multiplier greater than one. To use the normal stocking level, enter a multiplier of one. To order less than usual, enter a multiplier less than one. In the above example, 2.5 times the normal level will be ordered.

The temporary stocking level is used to determine the quantity to order on the purchase order. OLT - Seasonal Purchasing does not change the Reorder Level in the inventory file.
