Are you wasting valuable keystrokes and time, re-entering Item Type and Department when in Enter Inventory Transaction program? Normally when you complete a transaction, you have to re-enter the Item Type and Department, which is usually the next available item in Inventory. It is easy to lose track of the last transaction completed when entering large batches of data.

With INI - Next Item in Enter Transactions, the next inventory item is automatically selected when using the Enter Inventory Transaction program.

Now when you complete a transaction, the Item Type, Department, and Item Number is automatically selected for the next available item in Inventory.

When the last item in a Department is chosen, the next available item to come up, is the first item in the next Department.

If you want to select a different Item Number than the automatically selected item, press F2 and choose a different Item. To go to a different Department or Item Type than the automatically selected item, or you want to chose a different Transaction, press Esc to backspace and enter your selection.

This enhancement works great with IPC - Inventory Physical Count, which lets you enter quantity on hand and an adjustment or sale transaction is created to update quantity for you. Makes entering physical count inventories fast and easy.
