Stop spending time having to manually delete every item in a department! With IDD - Delete Departments in Inventory simply select the department you want to delete and its done! If an item in the department has activity in the current period and it can't be deleted a control report will tell you what items were not deleted and why.

A new menu item has been added to the Change\Copy Inventory Items Menu. By Selecting D - Delete Department, you are presented with the following screen:

After selecting the Item Type and Department you wish to delete, you can delete the department or validate the department. When you validate the department, a report will print all of the inventory items that cannot be deleted in that department and why.
